About Bio-Medical Waste Rules
Bio-Medical Waste Management Rules, 2016 notified by Ministry
of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. Amended on 19th July
2019 to be called as Bio-Medical
Waste Management (Amendment) Rules, 2019.
Need for Training Program
Hospitals are under increasing pressure for implementation of
requirements of BMW rules. Training is the requirement of the rules and
extremely important for implementation of the notified rules. While large
hospitals manage to build internal trainers and employ dedicated experts; medium to small hospital are constrained
by limited access to technical resources and expertise. It may not be possible
for them to employ full time qualified personnel, considering the size of their
hospital.
Why AQHEAS
At AQHEAS, understanding constrains of medium to small hospital;
an expert panel, was formed to identify the gaps and a dedicate programme and
its course content were devised. This course specifically addresses the
requirements of target hospital, helping them comply with the requirements of
BMW rules and providing dedicated training to their staff.
Our faculty has been specifically trained for delivering the defined
