As per accreditation requirements, medical laboratories must conduct internal audits to verify compliance with ISO 15189:2022 before applying for accreditation and at regular intervals thereafter. With changing times, hospitals and laboratories have recognized this need and are increasingly employing doctors and technicians trained in ISO 15189 standards and NABL requirements. Such trained personnel help laboratories maintain the required quality levels efficiently. They clearly understand established procedures and policies aligned with international standards and are capable of sustaining the quality system and accreditation framework on an ongoing basis.

Eligibility for online course:
Sessions and batch size are limited. Priority will be given to participants who are likely to apply the learning’s in their day-to-day laboratory practices. Registrations will be screened based on participants’ profiles, and shortlisted candidates may be contacted for a brief interaction to assess relevance and commitment. Participants attending solely for certification purposes are discouraged from applying.

Methodology/Pedagogy for online sessions:
• All live and interactive sessions
• Practical exercises with home work
• Daytime Batch (four days program with 8 learning hrs per day)
• Evening Batch (program delivered over eight evenings with 4 learning hrs per evening)
• Participants must keep their video on during online sessions.
• Assigned homework needs to be submitted before next session
Methodology/Pedagogy for onsite sessions:
• Four full days of learning (9:00 am to 6:00 pm)
• All interactive and participative sessions
• Practical exercises
Certificate:
• Certificate of Participation will be awarded to participants who attend all the sessions in full, actively participate and submit homework as per schedule.
• Internal Auditor Certificate will be awarded to participants who successfully clear the examination and demonstrate satisfactory understanding of the concepts. Issuance of the certificate remains subject to the sole discretion of AQHEAS , which reserves the right to withhold the Certificate of Achievement.
